At the moment, the merge field is using dd/mm/yyyy format but for event it is much more user friendly when it is showing as dd MMMM yyyy (i.e. 20 September 2018 instead of 20/09/2018) to avoid date mistake due to difference of date formats with month and day positioning in different countries (dd/mm or mm/dd). To have the options to configure it will be great.
