We often set up a giving page for an event or appeal that will include a benefit/quid. However, there is no way for us to include that in the gift information that is sent to CRM. This means that our gift processor has to know the benefit should be added to the gift and also remember to do so. This becomes difficult when supporting multiple units across multiple campuses.
I would propose that a benefits section be added to the API used by the advanced donation form that would allow us to specify one or more benefits to apply to a gift, similar to how tributes and attributes are done. The corresponding process in CRM to add gifts to a batch would also need to be modified.
