Currently, Advanced Donation Forms do not expose merge fields for core pledge data such as Pledge ID and Pledge Amount in donor-facing communications. Organizations that accept pledges are unable to clearly reference a donor’s pledge commitment in the confirmation message or acknowledgement email.
Providing native merge fields within the Pledge section would allow organizations to clearly acknowledge pledge commitments, improve donor clarity, reduce confusion, and align pledge acknowledgements with standard donation acknowledgements across BBIS.
