When editing a payment with multiple applications, though only one application is being updated the whole payment is "adjusted". It would be helpful if the application only could be updated. This is especially true for matching gift payments where you must filter to find the appropriate application, then depending on how many applications are associated with the payment, it may time out. If each app had an identifier, rather adjusting each and every application, only the one that really needs updated would be touched and processed.
