We would like to be able to open a revenue batch and have a revenue search field. This would search on the revenue ID. When the revenue is found, and selected the batch would populate the constituent name and commitment. Then the payment is applied and the batch processed.
The business process we are trying to enable is:
We send invoices with a tear off that contains the revenue ID of the pledge.
When that payment is received, the revenue ID is received too. So it would be very nice to open the batch and enter the revenue ID number and have that revenue data populate.
We have many constituents with the same name like bank of america for example. And to make matters worse, when we send out an appeal the payments are often the same amount. So applying the payment to the correct commitment in batch is more challenging.
