End date a naming opportunity on a opportunity

You can add a naming opportunity to an opportunity on a plan. When you click edit, it edits the naming opportunity overall, not the naming opportunity relative that that prospect, that plan, and that opportunity. Ideally, you would be able to end date the naming opportunity on that opportunity to show that the prospect had been a prospect for that naming opportunity. The only way to not have the prospect show on the prospects tab of the naming opportunity is to delete the naming opp off of the opp - it does not maintain a history.
