As specs are modified or fixed, the Catalog Browser is unable to indicate if the spec found in the DLL is actually installed or not. It just knows that a spec with the same ID is installed. When you have a catalog with a hundred items in it, seeing which ones need updating can save time so I'm not having to have open my source control history to see which ones actually changed then clicking into each one to see what the internal name is called. It's painful.
