Ability to query Postal or Zip code | Ideas for Blackbaud CRM and BBIS

Ability to query Postal or Zip code 5 digit and the Zip+four in Seperate fields

Does CRM does not have the ability to parse out the zip codes? It's difficult to run counts based on zip codes. Currently we have to output it parse out the zip plus in excel to receive an accurate count. Also, couple of our lettershop and data vendors requires it to be in separate fields. Is there any way you can have the zip code and zip+4 in separate fields like in Team Approach?
