We have a handful of enhanced revenue batch templates, but frequently use field options when entering data to speed up data entry for one-off batches.

Using the field options results in the system effectively building an entirely new batch template to accommodate the modifications. There is no front end process to remove the system built batch templates -- and this causes issues when running revisions during upgrades due to large volumes that have built up over the years. We need to run backend scripts  to clean up data/old table entries.
