This would be helpful so that query writers don't have to re-enter multiple query filter lines during testing, similar to commenting out single lines in actual code. The option to toggle the filters can be Opt-In, not Opt Out. Another item that would be helpful is allowing comments to explain sections of filters to anyone looking at an advanced query so that they can be easily understood by people other than the ones who wrote the queries. Adding these items would be very helpful for newer users to pick up the software more quickly.

Example: 

[X] Constituent\Name equal to John               (Filters to a specific Name)

[  ]  Constituent\Is individual is equal to Yes   (Removes Organizations and Household records from the results if enabled)
