Enabling batch history is a good idea for for an audit trail. However, I recommend a field under Start Date and End Date that can be checked if you desire to see the batch history - no batches would be seen if left unchecked.

Where a Constituent has been updated via committing a batch (e.g BBIS Profile update Batch), the batch number should display on the Constituent History Report so that we have an audit trail when investigating transactions.
