There are hundreds of schools in the United States alone that shares it's name with another school. CRM does not allow schools with the same name to be entered into the Educational Institution Catalog, and we must therefore add the second school with a dummy name:

• School 1: St. Mary's University
• School 2: St. Mary's University - 2

This causes a number of errors when importing from our registrar's office or from our prospect research team, and makes the school names look absurd when pulling them back out for reporting purposes.

It seems like an unnecessary table constraint, and we would like to see it removed.
