Datafill credit card type based on first number

Is there a way to add functionality such that if a credit card number is added that the credit card type is automatically identified? I was informed that the first number of a credit card will always identify the type.

    This is a very good enhancement for the system. This should be available in batch entry as well as on the one-off payment form.
