Currently, when exporting data for merge fields in our Acknowledgement Letters, whether it is a pledge or a recurring gift header, we use a combination of pledge/gift amount, frequency and first installment date. This is adequate for most gifts but doesn't particularly show a full picture of the payment plan (although for pledges, you can add a last installment date).
More importantly, for pledges with an irregular frequency, there is absolutely no way of being able to provide a payment plan for donors (other than a manual creation).
I propose that the scheduled payment plan (which is viewable when entering a pledge or recurring gift header) is made as an exportable field for merge fields.
For pledges, this could provide a full payment plan for the life of the pledge, from start to finish.
For recurring gift headers, due to the likelihood of no end date, this could show the first 5 or 10 installments of the payment plan.
