Make entry of contact report/interaction on one screen with an option to add it to or request a plan

My fundraisers regularly forget to add their interactions as contact reports inside their plans. Fundraiser then can get confused if they look in their plan and don't see the contact report there because they accidentally entered it as an interaction.

It would be great if the process for adding interactions/contact reports were the same.

It would be even better if, at the end of the interaction/contact report form, the following options were either listed with checkboxes or were a box that pops up when the fundraiser clicks Save:


  • Do you have a plan on this constituent? YES/NO

    • YES - would you like to add this interaction to your plan? YES/NO

      • YES - automatically save it as a contact report inside the plan

      • NO - automatically save it as an interaction

    • NO - would you like to request a plan? YES/NO

      • YES - automatically save it as an interaction, then link directly to the plan request form

      • NO - automatically save it as an interaction
