In SP37 we introduced functionality that allows the use of proxy user accounts with a PAT to access odata connections. PAT's are designed to expire every year and the only way a user will know it's expired is if their odata reports stop functioning. If we can add filters for users is proxy and the PAT expiration date to an existing query, then it would be possible to create a custom e-mail alert. That alert could notify administrators of imminent PAT expiration's giving them a chance to update it before it stops working.
