Being able to just reset the recognition credits for a single gift would be useful for several reasons. If you'd changed the donor and were unsure if you'd properly reset (or if the option that prompted you to do so did not come up - which happens fairly often) the credits you'd have a backup to do so. If you find that the recognition credits have loaded wrong but the donor is ID is correct you wouldn't have to fix it manually (I've seen this in batches with lots of DAFs). Gift entry processors would extremely benefit.
