When looking at out of the box name formats, a short class year field ('09 for class of 2009 for example) is displayed. This element is NOT available for use in designing user-defined name formats. For example, you can't as an end-user build your own name format of [firstname] [lastname] ([maidenname]) [short class year] to generate a custom name format that looks like Jane Dough (Bread) '09 It's completely inconsistent as all the other elements are available to assemble into these name formats.
