The academic catalogue functioned much smoother in 2.5 than it does in 2.91. When entering new degrees including college, department and type the new expland all functionality takes you completely away from where you were entering and then you have to collapse, find it again, and enter another piece of data. It takes 3 times longer (if not longer) to enter degrees the way this is currently configured.
