It would be nice if there was an option when importing an acquisition list for it to dedupe against your constituent database. That way hospitals could use this to import the patients for their grateful patient programs. The dedupe would keep them from soliciting someone who is already being cultivated, but it would also allow them to easily identify the patients who are currently donors.
