In order to produce a variety of documentation, the general correspondence process should allow any export definition type to be used. This would allow us to produce event confirmation letters, sponsorship letters and other types of correspondence that included the information required, and not just form the Constituent point of view. Producing letters from a Constituent point of view makes it very difficult to include generic information about a specific event - because you have to go through a Constituent record to get the event details - rather than starting at the event - and finding related constituents.
