It would be helpful if a change of revenue category on pledge would apply to all future pledge payments but would keep the revenue category value before change on all previous pledge payments. 

This became a big problem for our organization. We use Revenue Category to track auto-cc and government allotment pledge payments. When a donor changes his way of pledge payment from one to another, or decides to pay by check, etc., we need to change a revenue category on pledge. The revenue category is automatically being changed on all previous payments, and we lose history. There is no way to update revenue category on pledge payments via enhanced revenue batch or revenue update batch. It's tied to the revenue category on pledge. It can be manually updated on each pledge payment. But this is very time consuming considering that we have a lot of pledge payments made via government allotment or auto-cc.
