The workaround we got from BB support to change designations on recurring gifts is complicated and time consuming.In order to edit the Designation on a Recurring gift that is in use, we would need to create a new Recurring gift with the correct Designation and apply the Payment to it. We tried this approach once but it was a bit time consuming to create a fake recurring gift with end date for each payment where we want the designation to be edited. It will be great if changing designation on a recurring gift is as simple as changing a designation on a non-recurring gift.
