In BBIS allow Event registrants to choose unknown guest

Right now in BBIS Events for guests only have 2 options for a guest. the Logged in user ( Myself), or New individual.  What about adding unknown Guest, "Guest of Registrant".   Not everyone knows who will be attending an event with them especially when it is a table of 10.

Right now I have to add information to the event registration stating that if they do not know who all will be attending the event with them to have the name of the new individual as Unknown Guest.  Which creates more work in CRM in batching as we have to change that value to Guest of Registrant.  Otherwise it tries to add a new record called Unknown Guest or link it to one that unfortunatly already exists.

If that was an option then it would save time on the CRM side when batching an event to not have to change the Guests to Guest of Registrant as the CRM system requires for unknown Guests which would make since to have since BBIS feeds data to CRM they should have the same options as if you were in CRM adding your name to an event with unknown guests.

Have you tried using the "anonymous" configuration that is available to be turned on for each registration option within the Event Registration part configuration? When you turn this on, a "Not Sure" will show up in the attendee list alongside Myself or New Individual. This allows the registrant to come in as a Guest of Registrant.

Give that a try and let us know if that doesn't solve your problem.
