add a global change for prospect status Merged

As a prospect manager I want to globally change the prospect status on a group of prospects so that it does not have to be done manually. For example, a large group of prospects have been identified for the prospect pool, and their prospect status should be "Prospect Pool". Or a group of prospects have gone through the qualification process and been identified by development officers as "Not Qualified" and need to be marked with a status of "Not a Prospect".

    Supporting this idea. This is absolutely necessary. Our users were able to do this in Raiser's Edge. It's very frustrating that this cannot be done in CRM.

    This has been requested again. The reason is: When a prospect manager leaves and reassigns his/her prospects to a different prospect manager, the prospect statuses also need to be updated. The prospects will need to be contacted by their new prospect manager, so the old status is no longer accurate.

    Ideally, a Global Change for Prospect statuses would work side-by-side with the Prospect Assignment in Bulk process, so that the old manager can update their prospect statuses, and then assign their prospects to the new manager. Or the new manager can quickly update all the prospect statuses after being assigned the prospects.
