Make it possible to create clickable links that contain Merge Field data in them

When added a Merge Field into the What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWYG) editor, it shows a yellow tag to show where it would populate.

It would be great if there was a way to add this population of data into an HTML "A" tag.

    There is a near duplicate idea here: https://bbcrm.ideas.aha.io/ideas/CRM-I-868 with 15 votes. It would be nice if those votes could be considered for this idea

    Yes, please! This would be super useful/valuable in combination with the askladder merge fields where you could serve an appropriate ask in an email and populate the ask on the donation form :) Is this on the road-map?
