Is there any progress on this? Research Lists are useless to us if they can't include Organizations, and we do have a need for something like Research Lists, so we have to work around them using Attributes, Interactions or Groups, none of which are as easy to use for this purpose.
Research Lists are useless without this functionality - foundations and corporate partners are a significant part of our major donor prospect base, as I'm sure is the case for most organisations.
Research Lists are fundamentally crippled without this ability. We had started to use them but are going to have to abandon them without this, as at least 10% of our major donor prospects are organisations and we have to come up with various hacks to consider them alongside a Research List.

We abandoned use of Research Lists because of this limitation. It's a shame because they might otherwise be useful.
This an obvious function!

How many votes does it take to get this on the list? Thanks, Joe O'Neill - University of Illinois Foundation
