Was surprised to discover that the "merge organization" tool which allows the simulation
of real-life acquisitions or mergers between companies *does not* include the transfer of
revenue from the company/(ies) that will no longer exist to the company that
will remain OR to the newly formed company afterwards?!

In the real world, the transfer of financial assets is almost always a part of that
picture, so makes all kinds of sense that the tool would automatically migrate
revenue history dated AFTER whatever the merger date is onto the resulting company
as part of its corporate merger functionality -- are there plans to include something like this soon?

As it is now, the user would have to either manually or perhaps use work around scripts to move any revenue to the remaining company which could be tedious / time consuming especially in cases where there are multiple revenue history transactions involved!
