Use the opportunity ask date as the date used to populate the opportunities and asks numbers in Major Giving Management

When a new prospect manager leaves and a replacement is hired, the PMs prospects and plans move to the new hire. When we add the new hire to the Organizational Hierarchy under Administration with the true hire date, the opportunities associated with the PM who left disappear from the Opportunities and Asks area under Major Giving Management.

We asked BB support about this and they said it’s because the start date for the new hire is after the opportunity ask date. I would like that the opportunity ask date be the date used to populate the opportunities and asks numbers, not the start date of the new employee. It shouldn’t matter who opened the opportunity, it’s still an opportunity that needs to be counted in the major giving management area.
