When we view the results of an ad-hoc query it displays text like "Results (28937 records found. Only the first 500 rows are shown.)  Data lists do not do this.  We were very perplexed when an event invitation list showed (and counted) 10,000 rows even though over 20,000 records had been added.  It would be very useful if data lists showed the total number as well as the number displayed so we weren't left wondering whether the other records were successfully added.
