When you are searching for a constituent, and click the Advanced Search button there is a check box for "Only search primary addresses". This checkbox restricts the search to not only primary addresses but any primary contact field such as phone number also. Simply rename the check box to "Only search primary" to reflect this. If there is room, an alternate, more descriptive label could be "Only search primary contact records"
