When creating an event in BB CRM, it would be useful to have a dedicated way to store an external ID for reference when the event is linked to an external system. Currently, the lookup_id field is available in the UI, but it is auto-generated when the event is created. While it can be used to search for events via the GET events/search API, it doesn’t allow storing a meaningful external reference.

Alternatively, an external_id field could be introduced to hold the key from the linked external system. This would enable straightforward mapping between the two systems, allowing events to be easily searched for and updated.
