Add find and replace functionality in batch to the web based user experience

In the smart client users are able to select Edit and choose Find and Replace. They are able to leverage this functionality to replace large ranges of data that has been inputted incorrectly (like gift date for instance). This functionality has not been added to the web based user experience. I would like to suggest that full parity be added between the two versions for this functionality.

    I am glad to hear you are looking at adding find/replace to the web version.  I have primarily been using it in Revenue update batches, but it is very useful in ERB as well.  Being able limit by column and handle yes/no boxes as well as null values will be appreciated.

    • date
    • constituent
    • designation
    • do not receipt (yes/no)
    • marketing effort
    • appeal
    • amount (ex. change all to zero when adjusting duplicates or refunds)
    • ability to add a note or attribute to all rows would be very useful

    • benefits

    Oxford University would really like this feature added back! It's one of our top requests from Collegiate revenue administrators and our Central Gift Registry team.

    It would be most helpful to be able to search and find within the ENTIRE batch, not just page by page.  Thank you!!

    Find/Replace is a constant need and extremely useful. It would be a tremendous help to search the entire batch versus page by page. Thank you!!
