As per the Raiser's Edge, it would be very handy if there was an option in Batch to change a field in all rows of a batch, so that, for example, we could create a Revenue Update Batch for a group of records for which we wanted to change the Inbound Channel, and then click a button which would allow us to specify a new value for that field for all records in the batch.

Similarly, it would be handy to be able to search and replace values in a particular field.
