The search function is essentially a query and it would be helpful to be able to export search results instead of having to recreate the search in an ad-hoc query. It also allows users who do not have the ability or knowledge to create an ad-hoc query similar functionality without additional training. It could be a task/feature that could be added to security roles as needed.
