I agree - I assume that the values 'Death Certificate' and 'Family Member' are supposed to represent two ways by which the death was confirmed; but there could be other ways - notably via an Obituary.
I agree too. I think it ought to be simply "Confirmed" and "Unconfirmed", then we use the editable Source code table for how we were notified - Obituary, Bank notified, Lawyer notified etc.
At the very least, being able to hide the Confirmation field would be good. We won't be using it (we are including confirmation status under Source), so it's only going to cause confusion having it there.
