I didn't originally post this, but I'll chime in. I think data list and listbuilder columns are sticky in regard to width. I'm thinking this might be on the search form. The columns retain their width settings if the search form window is not maximized. However, if you maximize the search form to fill the screen, which is often necessary to see everything in the results, the column width is not sticky.

Can you give us some more information on this? Are you referring to data list columns, query field columns or something else?  If you could provide us with a use case example that would be very helpful.
