Currently running into an issue that the recipient opt-out and the opt-out went into the hidden Global Opt-out list that only Blackbaud internal team can access. When recipient wants to opt back to the mailing list, he needs to find the last email that he received and opt-out or we need to write to Blackbaud with recipient's request to opt in and Blackbaud will opt in for them. This prcoess is really troublesome and recipient will not be able to find the old email and we are unable to find when he opt out from, which will cause frustations to be user and recipient. Hope to have access to the hidden Global opt-out list and also able to do manual opt-in for recipient.
Hi Hazel, It seems that you are referring to the list-unsubscribe feature (also known as a one-click unsubscribe header and LUH) which Blackbaud has had implemented on outgoing emails since Q1 2022.
This sets column bit in the 'EmailJob_Recipient' table which indicates the type of unsubscribe/email-opt out the recipient actioned originated from a list-unsubscribe LUH opt-out.
Providers like Gmail and Yahoo have stated that they’ll enforce the one-click method for unsubscribing starting in June 2024. If you fail to comply with these rules, inbox providers might block your emails from reaching the inbox.
