Ad Hoc Query - Copy and Paste a spreadsheet column into query operator

We would like to be able to cut and paste values from an Excel column into ‘One of’ criteria values in Ad-Hoc Query. For example, we have an Excel containing a column of Lookup IDs or Zip codes and we want to paste these into the 'One of' Lookup ID or Zip code values so we don't have to retype the values into the Query.

Hello everyone, Daisy here from the Blackbaud Product team. We have some great news to share with you! We have made some progress on this idea and would love to get your input while we are still in the developing phase. If a few of you would like to participate in a short preview (no more than 15 minutes), then please send me or Pat Conley an email at daisy.alarcon@blackbaud.com / pat.conley@blackbaud.com with your availability and we will schedule a short meeting with you to view the solution and provide us with some quick, direct feedback. Thank you!

This is pretty basic functionality - especially baffling as the query displays the filter as csv yet it cannot be pasted in this format

If this is not going to be included with out of the box functionality, has anyone created a workaround or customized solutions for this?

Yes! Copy/pasting over 200 postcodes is not my idea of fun, especially when you cannot use postcode ranges in this instance.

We use this frequently in the Raiser's Edge and would certainly hope to be able to use it in BBCRM.
