the email address inserted from the online event registration form cannot be added to the existing constituent record if that email address has already existed in that the constituent record. Also, that email address can not be marked as primary email address if the constituent already have the primary address. Even through I have argued this is a bug, BB support still insist this work as design and suggest us vote this issue.
