Allow colours on a Constituent Density Map to be configurable (or visible in some other way)

It is frequently almost or completely impossible to see the colours on a Constituent Density Map once we zoom in to any useful level.  E.g., the map can look reasonable for a whole country or state, but when we zoom into a particular city or set of suburbs, the colours become so faint as to become invisible.

Please fix this, e.g., by allowing the colours to be configurable or allowing them to (optionally) recalibrate as we zoom in.  At the moment, the map is useful only at very large scales or for drawing radius searches.
