When importing a revenue batch with recurring gift payments, we expect the batch to honor our configuration for Recurring gift payment handling. Batch imports are not honoring these configurations.

It is becoming even more common that payments on recurring gifts are being made above the initial recurring gift amount. This is especially true as we've added more capability to allow donors to pay processing fees on top of the recurring gift amount. Honoring the Recurring Gift Payment Handling configuration will save our revenue specialists hours on manual batch massaging every week to account for payments with different amounts from the commitment.
