Enforce MFA for BBID

Currently there is no way to tell if our users are using MFA on their BBID accounts. We'd like to enforce the usage of MFA.

Please provide the ability to either:

  • Allow admins to force BBID users to use MFA.

  • Display MFA status on the 'Users & admins' page so that we can 'remind' users to set it up.

    Martin, I suggest you open a ticket with support to assist you through this. There are a couple of options available, and this idea bank area is not the smoothest way to provide you this kind of technical assistance.

    Thanks Pat, it's good to know. I have one question though. We were advised to set up a BBID user (but not set up MFA for it) to use for OData connections. Please can you tell me how this will work if MFA is enforced for all user accounts? Will there be a new option/configuration that will allow a 'system' account to not set MFA?

    Hi Martin, good news. We will start enforcing MFA for BBID beginning next week. Our target date is 17 January. This is mandatory enforcement so there will be no option for a user to opt out.
