When BBMS Credit Card Updater updates a card (expiry date, card number or account holder) these details are not visible in BBCRM (although we think we might have found one example where they are - it's all rather mysterious.) Please update the details on the Constituent's revenue record (especially Recurring Gifts) and create Recurring Gift Amendment records so that we know when they were updated and why. Without the record being updated in BBCRM, it is very confusing when we're talking to supporters about their card details. We wish to proactively contact supporters whose expiry dates are approaching, to ask them to update their details. Also, we have various processes which check Recurring Gift Amendments, e.g., to decide whether to terminate a Recurring Gift because it has had multiple payments rejected. An update would usually exclude someone from this process, but if we don't have the update recorded, we could terminate the RG even though we actually have a recent update to their card details.

Further to that, the delay of up to a month in getting the data into BBCRM leads to very confusing outcomes for supporters and loss of income for us.
We've since found/learned that updates are brought into BBCRM, but after a substantial time lag of up to a month. Please update them daily. Ideally, please also treat them as RG Amendments, so that they show up visually and in queries where we expect them to be; otherwise we treat the supporters as not having updated their details and we might contact them asking for updates, or even Terminate their RGs for non-payment.
