FYI, we've long been working around this behaviour by unmarking records as Deceased or Inactive, doing the Import, and then marking them as Deceased or Inactive again. We don't like this because it's tedious but it also loses the original history of when and why records were so marked. However, it's much less work and more accurate than creating the Interactions manually.
This would be really useful, for both Inactive and Deceased records. It's a constant manual workaround importing such Interactions, which we frequently need to do when bringing data in from other systems. Please remove the restriction.
@Admin -- but this is only if you choose ID for the search list, correct? There is no way to do quick find and provide search list overrides to include deceased or inactive records.

Please fix it.
The bulk import service is no longer available, can we take another look at this?
