Credit Card Rejection Handling for one-off gifts
Credit Card Rejections for one-time donations need to be stored somewhere in CRM so we can produce letters to send to the donor.
Ideally - this should store an interaction, with a category of credit card rejection, as a trigger to take further steps to correct the situation. We can then use the details of the interaction to setup a correspondence process to create letters to the constituent.
It would also be good for acquisition donations, that the constituent is created regardless of a successful credit card payment or not. By responding to the mailing - the constituent has already provided consent to be added to the database, and we cannot send a letter indicating a rejection if they do not exist.

This continues to be a pain for us. We want to contact people about their rejected one-off payment but there is nothing in the system to indicate how much the donation was or which appeal it was for, so our Supporter Care staff are flying blind ringing the supporter. Can we please have the rejection stored somewhere in the system?
