Any information entered in the reference field on a revenue transaction ("per donor instruction" or "stuffed toy bulldog") overwrites the default journal reference value "Name-Donation-Check"). These fields serve two different purposes, and ideally, the journal reference field should be configurable and not pull from the reference field on the gift.
