Allow the default status of a prospect plan step to be changeable

Out of box, the default status of a prospect plan step is "Planned". My organization would like to change the default status to "Pending". Accordingly, we would like CRM to have functionality to allow us to change the default value.

    Habitat doesn't used planned at all and some of the plans are more than 10 steps so it is time consuming to change each one on every plan to pending.

    We would like this field to be managed as a code table as other users have mentioned.

    We would like this as well. Our Organization (unitversity of Illinois Foundation) does not use planned and would like have it default to pending or be able to control it via a code table value.
