As a failsafe, we would like for the original finder numbers that are assigned the first time the Calculate Segment Counts process is run to STAY with the constituent on subsequent re-calculations (unless the range is deleted entirely). Currently, shuffling and reassignment of finder numbers can occur which can be dangerous if re-calculation unintentionally occurs after mail files are produced (leading revenue to be assigned to the wrong constituent and manual adjustments required).
Since the effort has an entire range of numbers available for use, it would be safest to assign each qualifying constituent a finder number once, and let them keep that number (unless they drop out of the effort entirely) in all subsequent re-calculation processes. Newly added constituents would just get the next available number in the range.
